Semra Keceliouglu, LCSW-R

Semra received both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Social Work degrees from Syracuse University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in New York State.

Over the course of 25 years Semra's professional experiences have involved work with a wide range of individuals in psychiatric inpatient and out-patient settings. She has also been a family counselor for children/youth in foster placement and she has had the opportunity to conduct a psycho-educational group on Alcohol Abuse and Dependence. Since 1997, Semra has worked in a day treatment setting for severely emotional disturbed elementary school children. She has split time between her private practice and day treatment position since 2003.

Semra is a full member of the EMDR International Association and of the International Society for the Study of Dissociation.

Semra's range of focus in treatment includes anxiety and mood disorders, relationship issues, anger and stress management, trauma and dissociative disorders, primarily in adults and with youth.
